Johnson Barbeque traces its line back to 1954, when Elton Johnson began slow smoking pork shoulders in Plant City out of a gas station he had converted into a restaurant. The family has been cooking barbeque in town for more than sixty years.
The current menu is southern pit barbeque plus steak specials, sandwiches, BBQ tacos, salads and sides. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday.
