Marketing for Brandon businesses

What makes Brandon different

Brandon is unincorporated, which surprises people. No city hall, no mayor, no city limits sign. What it has instead is the commercial spine everybody east of Tampa ends up driving: Brandon Boulevard, which is State Road 60, running from the interstate out toward Valrico.

That matters for advertising in a specific way. Brandon is not a neighborhood people are loyal to the way FishHawk or Plant City residents are loyal to theirs. It is where the region does its errands. A Brandon business is competing for people who live in Riverview, Valrico, Lithia and Seffner and who are already in the car. Radius targeting set to Brandon alone will underperform, because your customer sleeps somewhere else.

We usually run a wider radius here than a business owner expects, then let the results narrow it. Two zip codes, 33510 and 33511, contain the storefronts. The buying population is four times that.

What competing here actually costs

Westfield Brandon anchors the middle and the plazas along SR 60 and Bloomingdale Avenue hold most of the restaurants, trades and services that serve the communities further east. That density is why Brandon has the highest ad costs in east Hillsborough. Home services, legal and real estate are the three most crowded categories, and all three are ones where a lead answered in ten minutes converts at a completely different rate than one answered the next day.

If you are in one of those categories and you are not going to call your leads, we will tell you that before you pay us.
